The Hope Express was a 135 run connecting the children at Hershey Medical Center with the dances at THON.  Runners carried letters written by children too sick to attend, handing them off relay style over the course of 24 hours.  Over the course of 10 years, The Hope Express donated nearly 1 million dollars to THON.
